At Eliza Chokolade we can produce and supply a wide range of chocolate-covered liquorice and almonds.

Liquorice balls

At Eliza Chokolade, our products include both sweet and salty liquorice. The liquorice is covered with either milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, or caramelised white chocolate in our old copper kettles.

To achieve the right flavour and aesthetic finish, we roll them in powder made from freeze-dried fruits, cocoa, raw liquorice, or liquorice granules.

Almonds

In order to achieve the perfect flavour and crunch we use specially roasted almonds. As with our liquorice balls, the almonds are covered with either milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, or caramelised white chocolate. Lastly, the almonds are also rolled in powder made from freeze-dried fruits, cocoa, raw liquorice, or liquorice granules.

Liquorice balls and almonds from Eliza Chokolade can be packed in either small tubs or stand-up bags in different sizes, according to preference.

Freeze-dried fruit and liquorice powder

At Eliza Chokolade, we use different kinds of freeze-dried fruit and liquorice powder to add a beautiful finish and a great taste to our products.

Our liquorice granules are made using a special slow cook process. First, the roots are boiled for four hours. Next, the mixture undergoes a thorough filtering. And finally, the juices are boiled off for several hours to finish the process. The finished granules have a deep and intense liquorice flavour — exactly as in the good old days.

The liquorice powder that we use at Eliza Chokolade is made from roots from Uzbekistan. The powder tastes sweet and mild. Because of the low content of glycyrrhizinic acid, the product is especially suited to use as coating.
